If you are new to Think Different Therapy, please book one of these sessions.
Follow-up Video Sessions
Video sessions are a good choice for those who like to see their therapist's body language and facial expressions. Video sessions are accessed via https://doxy.me/davidkirshner. When you arrive, you will be prompted to enter your name and then taken to a virtual waiting room. Your session will then begin shortly. Please ensure you have a strong internet connection and a device with a camera.
Follow-up Phone Sessions
Phone sessions are ideal if you have difficulty sitting still for a video call or are uncomfortable being on camera. There is no difference in the session itself, and you can choose to switch to video at anytime. Phone sessions will be held at the number you provided on your Jane account, which I will call at the scheduled start time of the appointment.

If you are autistic or an ADHDer, you may have tried to fit society’s neurotypical expectations. Although you try you best you still experience burnout, stress, disconnect, and difficult relationships. When faced with these difficult feelings I believe we all have the strengths and resources to overcome our challenges. I want to help you uncover your hidden strengths, embrace your neurodivergent identity as valuable in its own right, and support you in living a fulfilling life. Together, we will collaboratively develop strategies to manage sensory overload, enhance emotional regulation, and build self-advocacy skills.
I wish to help you in your journey through my holistic approach that considers all the psychological, social, and physical health factors surrounding your concerns. I have coached people for over 6 years and have seen the benefits of establishing healthy routines step-by-step as you gradually shift your mindset to better thrive.

As a therapist, my approach is largely based on acceptance. ADHD and Autism both come with many gifts, but also significant challenges. I believe that only by understanding and accepting both sides of this can we truly learn to live healthy, neurodivergent lives. I strive to help clients succeed with ADHD and/or Autism, not despite them.
I have 5+ years of experience working with ADHD and Autistic children, teenagers, adults, and seniors, and their families. My clients come from a diverse range of backgrounds, and I have particular experience working with neurodivergent women and members of the LGBTQ+ community. I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to benefit from therapy.
